Abstract
Covers inductive-type ballasts for use on an a.c. supply at 50 Hz or 60 Hz associated with sodium lamps, having rated wattages, dimensions and characteristics as specified in IEC Publication 192. Describes the requirements with which inductive-type ballasts shall comply in order to ensure the correct performance of complete sodium lamp circuits. Specifies requirements for marking, construction, electrical characteristics and tests.
