Safety requirements for lifting tables

1.1 This European Standard specifies the safety requirements for lifting tables for raising and/or lowering goods and/or persons associated with the movement of goods carried by the lifting table, for a vertical travel of up to 3,0 m. Note: These lifting table are intended for the transport of goods and not for the movement of passengers. 1.2 This European Standard deals with all significant hazards pertinent to lifting tables when they are used as intended and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer (see clause 4).
